Job Context

Innovate Engineering and Development (IED) is seeking a visionary and experienced Deputy Team Leader to join our multidisciplinary consultancy team. This is a high-profile role overseeing a major high-rise and infrastructure development project in Dhaka and Chattogram. If you are a Civil Engineering professional with a track record of leading mega-projects and navigating complex international contracts, we want to hear from you. The Role As the Deputy Team Leader, you will jointly lead a multidisciplinary supervision team, ensuring project delivery meets the highest international standards. You will be instrumental in managing project risks, overseeing QA/QC systems, and ensuring strict compliance with World Bank guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Team Leadership: Assist the Team Leader in project management, task allocation, and coordination of the consultant team.
• ✓Quality & Compliance: Enforce QA/QC systems and ensure all construction adheres to approved drawings, technical specifications, and national/international codes.
• ✓Contract Management: Oversee contract administration, including the review of variations, claims, and extension of time requests under FIDIC conditions.
• ✓ Technical Oversight: Identify and resolve architectural, structural, and MEP coordination issues.
• ✓Stakeholder Management: Facilitate seamless communication between the Client, Contractor, and other key stakeholders.

Educational Requirements

• ✓Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience Requirements

Additional Requirements

• ✓Must be a valid IEB Member.
• ✓Expertise in MS Project and Primavera P6.
• ✓Deep understanding of FIDIC conditions, claims management, and dispute resolution.
• ✓Strong command of English with excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
